Town sports teams are no longer enough and kids need to join better and more competitive travel teams. School math is no longer enough and kids are schlepped to Russian Math or Mathansium. Even local poverty is not flavor du jour and parents have to expose their children to the Ecuadorean poor or better yet those of the Indian subcontinent.
